ACCA Strategic Business Reporting


You have the knowledge and skills to analyse and prepare financial reports. This training takes it a level higher in asking you to take up an advising role in the company. You will dive into financial activities including leases, employee benefits and shared-based payments and make suggestions based on various factors. You familiarise yourself with the (upcoming) changes in the accounting standards and are able to estimate the impact these changes have on financial reporting.

The paper is to be concluded with an exam. The exam will have to be taken by the external examination authority ACCA. See for more information on the planning and booking of your exam. Costs have to be paid directly to the examining body. Upon passing the exam, you will be awarded with the certificate 'Strategic Business Reporting' by ACCA.


This paper is subject to change. From September 2018 ACCA paper P2 will undergo slight changes.

Types of courses

On average, the training takes 2 months to complete. Your training consists of 2 phases with a gap of 1 or 2 months between those phases, allowing you to process phase 1 and prepare for phase 2:

Phase 1: A block of 3 consecutive days to train the ACCA syllabus for this paper
Phase 2: A block of 2 consecutive days. Phase 2 consists of a summary of phase 1, the remaining syllabus and mock exams to prepare you for your exam

One day lasts from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. and is made up of 2 meetings separated by a lunch.
