In this paper, you will learn about financial reporting and accounting systems. You will learn to read and create trial balances. You will become familiar with the different items in the debit and credit columns and learn how to identify and correct errors. In addition, you will be able to prepare and interpret financial statements. You will learn the differences between incorporated and unincorporated entities and understand their financial risks and consequences. In other words: you make sure the company makes healthy financial decisions.
5-7 hours of preparation per meeting
The paper will be concluded with a computer-based exam. The exam will be conducted by the external examination authority ACCA. Upon passing the exam, you will be awarded the ACCA Financial Accounting certificate by ACCA.
