Do you wish to work as an accountant in an international corporate environment, but do you lack the corporate background? This paper introduces you to the different types of businesses and business structures. You will gain an understanding of political, demographic and economical factors, among others, that influence businesses. You will increase your personal effectiveness and study professional ethics. you will develop the knowledge and skills required to start working in this interesting and demanding environment.

The paper will be concluded with a computer-based exam. The exam will will be conducted by the external examination authority ACCA. See for more information regarding the planning and booking of your exam. Costs have to be paid directly to the examining body. Upon passing the exam, you will be awarded the certificate ACCA Accountant in Business by ACCA.

Course details

On average, it takes 2 months to complete the training. Your training consists of 2 phases with a gap of 1 or 2 months between each phase, allowing you to process phase 1 and prepare for phase 2:
Phase 1: A block of 3 consecutive days to cover the ACCA syllabus for this paper
Phase 2: A block of 2 consecutive days. Phase 2 consists of a summary of phase 1, the remaining syllabus and mock exams to prepare you for your exam

Training days start 10.00 a.m. and end at 4.00 p.m. Each day consists of 2 meetings and a lunch.
